Once while ...I am also fascinated with JTR history. Once while visiting London, I decided to go alone and take a walk through the alleys of Whitechapel. Another lonely traveler told me there was an art installation in the form of a walking tour, which I ferreted out and was amazed. While it is not explicitly JTR related, it feels that it has absorbed the energy of all that has happened there. It was an emotional and difficult-to-describe experience for me. The artist was Janet Cardiff, the audio-walk called "The Missing Voice". I have since made it a point to seek out other walks in other cities, but none other is as haunting as the Whitechapel piece. There is a good description of the walk at http://www.haikureview.net/node/15Ash Fhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14169780123723812250noreply@blogger.com
